The New Campaign

We are excited to announce that a new and enhanced Home Health Quality Improvement (HHQI) National Campaign will launch in early 2010. As the contractor for the first HHQI Campaign, WVMI & Quality Insights is proud to once again work with this initiative of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to improve home health quality. Our campaign goals are to improve the acute care hospitalization rate (reduce avoidable hospitalizations) and improve the management of oral medications.

Home Health Campaign Rewind

In 2007 and 2008, more than 5,500 home health agencies enrolled in the first HHQI National Campaign. Together they learned, shared best practices and improved the care provided to their patients.  Many of the campaign resources remain valuable to agencies seeking improvement today.  To access them click on the resources below.  Note that the signature learning tools are called Best Practice Intervention Packages and are available through the BPIP button .
